About the Artist
César Buitrago was born in Cali, Colombia. His first career choice was soccer which led him to play at a private University in St. Paul, Minnesota. César majored in Psychology and received a minor in both Philosophy and French. Fresh out of college, he stopped pursuing his career as a soccer player and psychologist to start a career in Fashion Photography. In his time in Minnesota, he was involved in the fashion scene and traveled to other locations for work. César has shot for Arquette Talents, Ignite Models, Slate Collective, IamSarahEdwards, N1 Motion, Fashion Week MN, Elixposure, and Modehaus Atelier. In 2016, he was commissioned by the University of St. Thomas to put together and showcase his first exhibit which was a series of portraits that discussed the issues of immigration. César has continued his pursuit towards working with new clients and looks to be featured in Magazines, both digital and print, all around the world in the near future.
César is now based in New York City where he looks to continue to grow.
